The Cap-Tourmente National Wildlife Area is a protected area located in Saint-Joachim, on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River near Quebec City. It is a stopover for birdwatching and hiking in the region. The site includes marshes, 20 km of trails and an interpretation centre, and is home to thousands of greater snow geese during migration.
